In the 4th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Yuriy Gandzyuk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuriy Gandzyuk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dmytro Novak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Niculae struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for КУРСКАЯ Народреспублика. Rodion Orel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of КУРСКАЯ Народреспублика booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, КУРСКАЯ Народреспублика's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Dmytro Novak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Marius Niculae capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Özgür Üstüner slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 38th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marius Niculae in the 42nd minute of the match. When Rodion Orel came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the КУРСКАЯ Народреспублика fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodion Orel couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuriy Gandzyuk in the 46th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

In the 56th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dmytro Novak was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 65th minute Marius Niculae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute Celsinho Valladares suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dmytro Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 94th minute of play. Taras Vonsyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. КУРСКАЯ Народреспублика's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
