Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Felix Montes charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Montes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 2nd minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. When the match had been going on for 3 minutes, ERGOTELIS's Panagiotis Agapakis got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Julio Vera. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 任树振 in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stamatis Ifantis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 10th minute of play. Sakis Sanidomenos's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sakis Sanidomenos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind ERGOTELIS's goalkeeper Stamatis Ifantis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Panagiotis Agapakis took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as ERGOTELIS's Evelio Gregory slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 3-0 after 20 minutes of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Stamatis Ifantis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 任树振 in the 29th minute of play. ERGOTELIS's Stamatis Ifantis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play. When ERGOTELIS's 任树振 in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Stamatis Ifantis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Stamatis Ifantis was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and Daniel Zorita capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Zorita really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stamatis Ifantis having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 任树振 in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th minute 任树振 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 65 minutes into the match, 任树振 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 任树振 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 任树振 in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, ERGOTELIS's 任树振 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. After 79 played minutes ERGOTELIS got a freekick which was hit by Stathis Tavanopoulos. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 任树振 in the 81st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 任树振 in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
