Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 77 minutes, Blas Bidun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flores AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Bidun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Feo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 78th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Flores AC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. With his leg Arturo Feo managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arturo Feo could save by the left post. Ecuador played a much better game than Flores AC and deserved their victory. The Flores AC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
