The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Alejo Maties ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piara Tittarelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. River de Ramos Mejía's Eleuterio Maureo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save River de Ramos Mejía from getting a goal against them. A hard shot by Augusto Alfonso from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Eleuterio Maureo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Pascual Elivareo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Alejo Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piara Tittarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Ledesma got free with Eleuterio Maureo in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the game, Reconquistense FC's Tomás Raphael nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Maureo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Lucas Seme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eleuterio Maureo came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Seme slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 27th minute. When River de Ramos Mejía's Christian Weets in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reconquistense FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Christian Weets, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Piara Tittarelli was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lucas Seme came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eleuterio Maureo could save by the left post. 34 minutes into the game, River de Ramos Mejía's Alejo Maties nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Piara Tittarelli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Raphael, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 41 minutes into the game, when Markus Kjellman put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, Reconquistense FC's Armindo Amado got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eleuterio Maureo.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Grabiel made a kick off. Piara Tittarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 54 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goal looked a bit too open when Armindo Amado came free, but Eleuterio Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, River de Ramos Mejía's Angelo Grabiel got a free kick in the 56th minute. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Seme, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armindo Amado in the 59th minute of play forced River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Eleuterio Maureo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piara Tittarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Grabiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Iulian Boc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. River de Ramos Mejía's Elliott Falcão was substituted for Marcelo Arias. River de Ramos Mejía's Mathijs Van Herendael was substituted for Mădălin Holban. Zbyszko Dejo made a great header on Reconquistense FC's corner, it was just that River de Ramos Mejía's Eleuterio Maureo managed to reach the ball for a save. Eleuterio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Ledesma in the 83rd minute of the match. Reconquistense FC's Piara Tittarelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Grabiel in the 85th minute of play. In the 89th minute Jan Ahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Maureo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iulian Boc, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When Adriano Fontana fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River de Ramos Mejía's protests and gave Adriano Fontana a yellow card for diving instead. Adriano Fontana kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Zbyszko Dejo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Reconquistense FC had won after a very even match.
