Municipales FC:s Pipis Culot showed great skill when he stopped Axel Montenegro:s penalty. 1-2 came in the 55th minute when Axel Montenegro all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Pipis Culot. Municipales FC's Angelito Di Maria was substituted for Alfonso Cordeara. 61 minutes into the match, Municipales FC's Borja Iglesias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Municipales FC's Pipis Culot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Abram Secada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pipis Culot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pipis Culot made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Kevin Mastache sent off a good shot on target. Kevin Mastache who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Pipis Culot when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Pipis Culot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Secada in the 95th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Municipales FC's Borja Iglesias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Manzanares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Municipales FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Colombia had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
