The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Tomas Lain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Festis BK's Jens-Ove Gallberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alexander Hultstrand struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Gersi Snabe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Festis BK. After a defensive mix-up in Festis BK's zone, Tomas Lain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ove Gallberg came out of the goal and Tomas Lain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Festis BK's Jens-Ove Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jogaila Makauskas in the 14th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Jogaila Makauskas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jens-Ove Gallberg. Festis BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jogaila Makauskas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 24 minutes of play, Harsh Gods's Renatas Eidukonis made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ove Gallberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! A sloppy throw-in by Long Zhen Zhi in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Festis BK's Alvar Holmgren. Tomas Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ove Gallberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Harsh Gods's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Hultstrand came free, but Gersi Snabe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Long Zhen Zhi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Festis BK's Alvar Holmgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 40th match minute, Harsh Gods was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Long Zhen Zhi to maneuver through the defense. Gersi Snabe made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Alexander Hultstrand sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute, Gabriele Meilutyte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 47 minutes of play, Harsh Gods's Tomas Lain made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ove Gallberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexander Hultstrand to make the kick off. If Alexander Hultstrand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Long Zhen Zhi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Long Zhen Zhi kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Gersi Snabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Dahlberg in the 68th minute of the match. Tomas Lain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Ove Gallberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Harsh Gods were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Festis BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Roberto Carlos took the corner. In the 81st minute of the match Harsh Gods got a corner. Festis BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roberto Carlos ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 88 minutes, Jogaila Makauskas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harsh Gods's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jogaila Makauskas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, Harsh Gods's Jogaila Makauskas made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens-Ove Gallberg was left in no man's land by his defense there!
