Mihnea Suşu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugge United. After 5 played minutes FC Dacii Liberi - IASI got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Bizi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Guido Vissenaeken in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihnea Suşu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guido Vissenaeken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihnea Suşu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mihnea Suşu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benedicto Abello kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihnea Suşu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 26 minutes of play, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihnea Suşu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Abello came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brugge United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waud Huijbrechts in the 33rd minute. The corner ended in Waud Huijbrechts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu did a great save. After a rather tough play, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Petru Drâmba got a free kick in the 34th minute. Guido Vissenaeken took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihnea Suşu. Mihnea Suşu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The Brugge United fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 46 minutes of play, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihnea Suşu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Brugge United made a substitution. Goffrey Sas replaced Guido Vissenaeken. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaizko Abaurre was the one to do the kick off. Goffrey Sas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Goffrey Sas scored 0-8 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Suşu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Goffrey Sas notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu. Mihnea Suşu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the match, Goffrey Sas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihnea Suşu. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Goffrey Sas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-11. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Abello in the 71st minute of play. Mihnea Suşu came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brugge United's Goffrey Sas. But to his dismay, Goffrey Sas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. 79 minutes into the match, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's goal looked a bit too open when Goffrey Sas came free, but Mihnea Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Goffrey Sas came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Brugge United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goffrey Sas couldn't finish the play. If Goffrey Sas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mihnea Suşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goffrey Sas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Goffrey Sas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihnea Suşu. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Goffrey Sas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-13. In the 90th minute, Goffrey Sas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihnea Suşu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-14. In the 96th minute, Brugge United's Goffrey Sas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mihnea Suşu. Mihnea Suşu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. The FC Dacii Liberi - IASI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brugge United were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
