With his leg Natasha Sjøholm managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Griskultingarnas FF's Natasha Sjøholm got control of the ball when Guido Vissenaeken tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brugge United's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmy Busk in the 14th minute of play. Karl Hansson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 17 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Jimmy Busk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guido Vissenaeken's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natasha Sjøholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Griskultingarnas FF's goalkeeper Natasha Sjøholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 38th minute Jimmy Busk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goal looked a bit too open when Jochem Klooster came free, but Vítor Baia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 48th minute of the match Arman Ekström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vítor Baia skillfully saved the ball.

Brugge United made a substitution. Waud Huijbrechts replaced Jaspar Van Den Broeck. Brugge United's Arnauld Van Impe was substituted for Guido Vissenaeken. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jochem Klooster to make the kick off. Natasha Sjøholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnauld Van Impe, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Stefan Bergqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Baia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Baia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jochem Klooster showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. Griskultingarnas FF's Natasha Sjøholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnauld Van Impe in the 63rd minute of play. Björn Utter made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jonny Balle however managed to control. Vítor Baia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmy Busk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72nd play minutes Arnauld Van Impe shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Natasha Sjøholm and just under the crossbar into goal. Natasha Sjøholm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnauld Van Impe went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Arnauld Van Impe scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natasha Sjøholm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Griskultingarnas FF getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Olívio Sjøholm hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes, Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natasha Sjøholm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brugge United reached it. Brugge United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Waud Huijbrechts in the 85th minute. The corner ended in Waud Huijbrechts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Griskultingarnas FF's Natasha Sjøholm did a great save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arnauld Van Impe in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Natasha Sjøholm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vítor Baia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmy Busk in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brugge United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Griskultingarnas FF had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
