Mihnea Suşu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Middendorf in the 5th minute of play. David Rotariu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaizko Abaurre in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Todor in the 8th minute of play forced FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's goalkeeper Mihnea Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes, PoWer SC 2K5's Matthew Wagner shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mihnea Suşu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PoWer SC 2K5 reached it. Mihnea Suşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Todor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Bogdan Chelaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's Patrick Middendorf sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mihnea Suşu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zvonimir Prestin took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihnea Suşu. Mihnea Suşu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Benedicto Abello got a free kick in the 21st minute. Hector Todor scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mihnea Suşu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizko Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Mihnea Suşu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zvonimir Prestin in the 31st minute of play. If Zvonimir Prestin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Middendorf in the 37th minute of play forced FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's goalkeeper Mihnea Suşu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41st play minutes Zvonimir Prestin shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Mihnea Suşu and just under the crossbar into goal. David Rotariu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizko Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Gaizko Abaurre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. David Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zvonimir Prestin to make the kick off. Zvonimir Prestin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mihnea Suşu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Dacii Liberi - IASI getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Benedicto Abello hit a great ball. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bogdan Chelaru's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Chelaru in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute FC Dacii Liberi - IASI were awarded a corner. Benedicto Abello went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's Benedicto Abello to fire away a dangerous shot which David Rotariu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benedicto Abello in the 69th minute. Petru Drâmba was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaizko Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 81st match minute, FC Dacii Liberi - IASI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedicto Abello to maneuver through the defense. Leroy Kluttig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Mihnea Suşu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute PoWer SC 2K5 were awarded a corner. Matthew Wagner went to the cornerflag to take it.
