Mihnea Suşu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 9th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Guido Vissenaeken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihnea Suşu. FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Guido Vissenaeken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 19 minutes FC Dacii Liberi - IASI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaspar Van Den Broeck who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Vissenaeken got free with Mihnea Suşu in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Brugge United booed when FC Dacii Liberi - IASI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Drâmba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mihnea Suşu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Guido Vissenaeken showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 30 minute of play. Mihnea Suşu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Goffrey Sas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, one of FC Dacii Liberi - IASI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Mihnea Suşu had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Ümit Karan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Goffrey Sas struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Mihnea Suşu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brugge United. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Goffrey Sas in the 100th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mihnea Suşu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brugge United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
