Joaquin Otoniel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Demonde Jacobson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luisito Pietro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfredo Stephen. River Plate's Luisito Pietro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romon Oliver in the 19th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, River Plate's Alfredo Stephen made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Alfredo Stephen sent off a good shot on target. Tobias Kaxen took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Demonde Jacobson. Demonde Jacobson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvano Jurdan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 30 minute of play. Miguel Ritchie kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th minute of the game Teo Gervaso made a throw-in which Silvano Jurdan played forward. The crowd rose to their feet as River Plate's Alfredo Stephen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Demonde Jacobson. That made the score 5-0 after 39 minutes of play. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tobias Kaxen sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 46 minutes, Tobias Kaxen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Kaxen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Kaxen was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Silvano Jurdan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvano Jurdan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Kaxen in the 58th minute of play. Silvano Jurdan succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. 62 minutes into the game, Finlay Stair was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jamaica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave River Plate the free kick. Finlay Stair hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in River Plate reached it. In the 72nd minute Joaquin Otoniel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Kaxen in the 73rd minute of play. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvano Jurdan went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Demonde Jacobson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Kaxen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Demonde Jacobson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. River Plate's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
