Adam Biörnberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Mas, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Adam Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Adam Biörnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 31st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Karl-Axel Bollström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Karl-Axel Bollström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adam Biörnberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The shot was a little too simple and Adam Biörnberg could save by the left post. In the 60th minute Adam Hajduk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Mas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dalens Darlings booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Edgar Mellin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 69th minute of play forced Dalens Darlings's goalkeeper Adam Biörnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Mellin's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andreas Jonasson charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Daniel Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes, Dalens Darlings's Evert Kielberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dalens Darlings reached it. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Mellin got his second yellow card in the match during the 89th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Edgar Mellin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Adam Hajduk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
