Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mehmet Kerem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play. Kong Bo Ning's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, ASD Real Molinella 1911's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Mehmet Kerem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Segundo Balaunde was slow to take the kick. During this time ASD Real Molinella 1911's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Dave Lorenzi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mehmet Kerem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after ASD Real Molinella 1911's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mehmet Kerem quite easily take care of the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If Kong Bo Ning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kong Bo Ning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. After a rather tough play, ASD Real Molinella 1911's Marius Mangra got a free kick in the 27th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Segundo Balaunde during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ASD Real Molinella 1911's Segundo Balaunde got a free kick in the 29th minute. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when ASD Real Molinella 1911's Kong Bo Ning fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Kong Bo Ning's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Mehmet Kerem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kong Bo Ning made the kick off in the second half. Kong Bo Ning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Bülent Yesar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Ecuador booed when ASD Real Molinella 1911 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bülent Yesar didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 69 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kong Bo Ning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Segundo Balaunde kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mehmet Kerem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 82nd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kong Bo Ning in the 86th minute of play. Kong Bo Ning scored 1-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to ASD Real Molinella 1911 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Arturo Scarinci hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Talamo came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antonio Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Arias to maneuver through the defense.
