Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Zorita took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Lundqvist got free with Julio Vera in the 2nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernt Kihlberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Mantorp were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edvard Palmkvist took the corner. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg. But to his dismay, Bernt Kihlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 21st minute, Antonio Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Mantorp's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Sven-Olof Gummeson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Gummeson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 26th minute of play. Wiktor Östensson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 31 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Kihlberg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Olof Gummeson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Olof Gummeson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Gummeson having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Kihlberg in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute Bernt Kihlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernt Kihlberg made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, Mantorp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Olof Gummeson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Mantorp's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 59 played minutes Mantorp got a freekick which was hit by Anders Olofsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernt Kihlberg in the 62nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Kihlberg in the 67th minute of play. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernt Kihlberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Mantorp's Bernt Kihlberg. But to his dismay, Bernt Kihlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play forced Mantorp's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Gummeson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven-Olof Gummeson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mantorp had won, even though Ecuador had held more of the ball.
