Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曾钢宁 in the 18th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from A.J. Teleagă in the 26th minute of play. Ivan Florescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mircea Calboreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Mircea Calboreanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. Mircea Calboreanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Axel Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 58 minute of play. Axel Montenegro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Mircea Calboreanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Calboreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the game, Axel Montenegro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mircea Calboreanu. Axel Montenegro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Abram Secada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mircea Calboreanu. That made the score 1-3 after 76 minutes of play. FC U Cluj-N made a substitution. Mihai Lăzăroiu replaced 曾钢宁. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cazimir Cosor in the 82nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC U Cluj-N's Fabian Mușetescu got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Mihai Lăzăroiu came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
