Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Lei Fei Song scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 1-0. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Tome Usel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. In the 19th match minute, Union Lara FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josue Corral to maneuver through the defense. Artur Acereda kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers You Xiao Mo in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Union Lara FC had played much better football throughout.
