Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 唐铮辉 kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 孟凌鹏 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Berganza went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 雷斐桦's late challenge caught a Panama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 雷斐桦 helped the player get up and apologised. 孟凌鹏 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. After a rather tough play, AFC Ajax's 顾震骋 got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. 孟凌鹏 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 62nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Miralles to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, 邱林潮 made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 68th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 孟凌鹏 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, 孟凌鹏 successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. AFC Ajax's 孟凌鹏 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Ajax from getting a goal against them. Isidoro Sarmiento charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isidoro Sarmiento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Isidoro Sarmiento hit a great ball. If Isidoro Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 93rd minute of play forced AFC Ajax's goalkeeper 孟凌鹏 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 minutes, Abraham Alguacil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the AFC Ajax players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AFC Ajax booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
