Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th match minute, Newton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Valiente to maneuver through the defense. Evelio Jerold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute of the match, Evelio Jerold tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Feliciano Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Pastor Gartxot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Zeledon Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Zeledon Hug. Newton FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Gener in the 21st minute of the match. Francisco Seco took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Hug. Zeledon Hug dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Zeledon Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Evelio Jerold took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Joaquin Gayoso to make any attempt to save it. In the 36thth minute of the game Jaime Cazalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newton FC's Zeledon Hug was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Newton FC's Zeledon Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 41st minute of play. Teo Cugat's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Cugat helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Newton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Cugat didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Newton FC's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Zeledon Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeledon Hug didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Zeledon Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evelio Jerold made a kick off. Zeledon Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Cazalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Maximiliano Escribano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeledon Hug. That made the score 1-4 in the 53 minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evelio Jerold in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Errapel in the 59th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great ball. Kevin Carballal kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Paulo Gener was slow to take the kick. During this time Newton FC's players had a chance to rest. Newton FC's Paulo Gener was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joaquin Gayoso in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 72 minutes into the match, Newton FC's goalkeeper Zeledon Hug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camilo Franco. Newton FC's Zeledon Hug proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Newton FC from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Errapel in the 76th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Paulo Gener cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Newton FC made a substitution. Celso Frisco replaced Benigno Froila. 85 minutes into the game, Pastor Gartxot threw the ball into play from the sideline. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 94 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. Newton FC's Paulo Gener got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Uruguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Newton FC throughout the match.
