Enver Tuncal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Üzeyir Tuğyan during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 10 minutes into the game, Alexander Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave !!Kupa KorsanLarı the free kick. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Karadeniz Yazganalp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to !!Kupa KorsanLarı getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Göktan Uğursan hit a great ball. Enver Tuncal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Puig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Korkmaz got free with Benito Sanz in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Lautaro Puig got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 35th minute, Göktan Uğursan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 38th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktan Uğursan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 44 minutes into the match, !!Kupa KorsanLarı's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Enver Tuncal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göktan Uğursan in the 53rd minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göktan Uğursan in the 55th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Göktan Uğursan scored 7-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Korkmaz in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute Güneş Korcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
