After a rather tough play, MZetowe Mastodonty's Larry Tatum got a free kick in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Hudson de Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Sebastian Ekelund dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Julio Vera, 1-0. Roch Haszczak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Cristian Sancho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. MZetowe Mastodonty's Hudson de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. Hudson de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastian Ekelund's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match, Sebastian Ekelund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Sebastian Ekelund made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Ekelund in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Hudson de Carvalho in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, MZetowe Mastodonty's Sebastian Ekelund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 67 minutes into the game, Sebastian Ekelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZetowe Mastodonty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Ekelund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Sebastian Ekelund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZetowe Mastodonty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Ekelund in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Felix Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MZetowe Mastodonty the free kick. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The MZetowe Mastodonty players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
