Jean Marie Alcius charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Marie Alcius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Haiti's Jean Marie Alcius got a free kick in the 6th minute. Jonathan Alphonse kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Noel Seide was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Alexandru Stolojan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alexandru Stolojan really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 16 minutes into the match, Foster Brennan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Foster Brennan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 19 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jean Marie Alcius. A hard shot by Aureliano Mundo from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Noel Seide's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Noel Seide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Foster Brennan in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Ferrando came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricardo Bernat received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Noel Seide came out and tried to block the shot, but Ricardo Bernat slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Joel Marcones cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Noel Seide was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bernabe Ferrando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Aureliano Mundo in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Ernso Constant. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Lorenz in the 40th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd play minute Aureliano Mundo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Noel Seide. 8-0. After 46 played minutes ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Meder. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Noel Seide made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Marcones in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernso Constant didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Bernat in the 55th minute of play. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 61st minute, Joel Marcones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Meder during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Noel Seide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Marcones in the 69th minute of the match. Nicolás Tagliafico made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Flavio Lorenz however managed to control. After having played for 80 minutes, Bernabe Ferrando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernabe Ferrando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Joel Marcones left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0. After 85 minutes of play, ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ's Joel Marcones made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandru Stolojan went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 16-0 was the resulting score. Ricardo Bernat succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 17-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ᴍᴏᴛʜᴡɪɴɢ fully deserved thier win.
