In the 28th minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devran Aktürk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Remigio Cembranos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Remigio Cembranos slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 32nd minute. Jörg Wagner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play. The ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Devran Aktürk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devran Aktürk.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Devran Aktürk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Devran Aktürk's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Akay Tuğsav hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's goalkeeper Jörg Wagner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Jörg Wagner despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 62 played minutes ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Cembranos. After 67 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Bjarte Sæverud was substituted for Devran Aktürk. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bjarte Sæverud in the 69th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjarte Sæverud in the 82nd minute of play. In the 95th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
