Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) STRAY CATS FC's 宋德勇 started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, STRAY CATS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Abelardo Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, STRAY CATS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Abelardo Rami reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, STRAY CATS FC's 宋德勇 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Rami saved STRAY CATS FC from getting behind. 19 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 宋德勇 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Rami came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Rami. STRAY CATS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Abelardo Rami didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Abelardo Rami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abelardo Rami read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that STRAY CATS FC's Abelardo Rami managed to reach the ball for a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Rami saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abelardo Rami in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 56 minutes into the match, STRAY CATS FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Rami had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 74th minute of play forced STRAY CATS FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Rami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Felix Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elvio Gartzi in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
