Sten Naredi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Kissel in the 20th minute of the match. Sebastian Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ayberk Akgün scored 0-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radowit Trzaskoma, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Sten Naredi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Kissel in the 37th minute of play forced DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Sten Naredi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ayberk Akgün to make the kick off. Xavier Rapado got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ayberk Akgün. Sten Naredi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Kissel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the game, Ayberk Akgün cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Radowit Trzaskoma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 58th minute, Aleksander Kissel made a precise shot to the right of Sten Naredi. DS ACADEMY TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Kissel in the 68th minute of play forced DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Sten Naredi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goalkeeper Radowit Trzaskoma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ayberk Akgün. FA Sandtown made a substitution. Lech Bartoszek replaced Giovani Correia. DS ACADEMY TEAM made a substitution. Alejandro-Ramón R. Hansen replaced Dag Olofsson. FA Sandtown's Benoit Van Bettenrode was substituted for Aleksander Kissel. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DS ACADEMY TEAM would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
