Fotis Katramados might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomasz Piwko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fotis Katramados ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Dwa Do Ósmej's Franciszek Lerych played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Snaza in the 16th minute of play. Fotis Katramados scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomasz Piwko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariusz Zgonina got free with Franciszek Lerych in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fotis Katramados in the 27th minute of play. Tomasz Piwko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fotis Katramados's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. If Radomir Anszczak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomasz Piwko came out of the goal and Bartlomiej Matela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 95 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witomir Gajewski. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Dwa Do Ósmej had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
