Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedykt Perkowski took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Joldea came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes had been played when some careless play by Szczakowianka's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomasz Gorski was slow to take the kick. During this time KS Piastów Sosnowiec's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Teobald Wawrukiewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Szczakowianka's Thibaut Courtois did a great save. When Szczakowianka's Benedykt Perkowski in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalie prevented a goal. 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Apolo Beltza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 10thth minute of the game Benedykt Perkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Szczakowianka's Norbert Blicharz got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Mariusz Zgonina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thibaut Courtois was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thibaut Courtois made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 17th minute. With a little luck, Szczakowianka's Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Mariusz Zgonina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benedykt Perkowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Elequemedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Tomasz Piwko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcin Snaza took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thibaut Courtois. Thibaut Courtois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 27thth minute of the game Yan Chen Yan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tytus Kajfasz thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tomasz Piwko, a very annoying self made goal in the 31st minute which led to 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Thibaut Courtois successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Snaza, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Tomasz Piwko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Perkowski in the 35th minute of the match. Apolo Beltza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thibaut Courtois came out and tried to block the shot, but Apolo Beltza slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 41st minute. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Beltza, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With his leg Thibaut Courtois managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Apolo Beltza fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Radowit Ogrodowicz's late challenge caught a KS Piastów Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radowit Ogrodowicz helped the player get up and apologised. Radowit Ogrodowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Mariusz Zgonina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thibaut Courtois came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariusz Zgonina slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcin Snaza was the one to do the kick off. Thibaut Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apolo Beltza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Beltza came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Snaza in the 58th minute of play. Thibaut Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Beltza in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Perkowski in the 70th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save KS Piastów Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Boruc Magdziarz was substituted for Hieronim Winszman. Norbert Blicharz kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Gorski tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Elequemedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stelian Joldea during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Gorski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KS Piastów Sosnowiec reached it. In the 97th minute Luis Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Szczakowianka had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
