KS Piastów Sosnowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Ewertowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Zgonina in the 7th minute of play. The throw-in from Tanek Ratulowski in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Goral Zywiec's Zula Nowacki. In the 10thth minute of the game Mariusz Zgonina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Wei Fei in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Gao Wei Fei came free, but Tomasz Piwko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Wei Fei in the 21st minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei in the 25th minute of play. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariusz Zgonina in the 29th minute of play. Tomasz Piwko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gao Wei Fei's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stelian Joldea in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Krawczyk saved Goral Zywiec from getting behind. Tomasz Piwko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gao Wei Fei, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Reşat Rasif fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KS Piastów Sosnowiec's protests and gave Reşat Rasif a yellow card for diving instead. Reşat Rasif hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Goral Zywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grzegorz Jajecznica to maneuver through the defense. Waldemar Kazczyk kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Gao Wei Fei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Goral Zywiec were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stelian Joldea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gao Wei Fei got free with Tomasz Piwko in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariusz Zgonina in the 56th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Teobald Wawrukiewicz in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Goral Zywiec's Zula Nowacki. In the 61st minute Alfred Ewertowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomasz Piwko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomasz Piwko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grzegorz Jajecznica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Stelian Joldea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Goral Zywiec's Zygmunt Budrewicz was substituted for Jaroslaw Garusov. Goral Zywiec's Roman Makomaski was substituted for Grzegorz Jajecznica. Goral Zywiec's Zula Nowacki quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tanek Ratulowski, made in the 68th minute of the game. 71 minutes into the match, Goral Zywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Joldea came free, but Michael Krawczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Fariz Nair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomasz Piwko was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Zula Nowacki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tomasz Piwko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Tomasz Piwko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko got control of the ball when Fariz Nair tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcin Snaza hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Cyryl Penkalski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michael Krawczyk was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Goral Zywiec's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
