After a rather tough play, Szczakowianka's Robbin Moreaux got a free kick in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 13th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Tomasz Piwko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Szczakowianka's Benedykt Perkowski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomasz Piwko. That made the score 1-0 after 15 minutes of play. With a little luck, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko got control of the ball when Luis Elequemedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match, Radowit Ogrodowicz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tomasz Piwko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tomasz Piwko got control of the ball when Luis Elequemedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th minute Marcin Snaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdi Bender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erdi Bender showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Joldea in the 41st minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Perkowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 77th minute, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Marcin Snaza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erdi Bender. Erdi Bender yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Benedykt Perkowski hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Tomasz Piwko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz in the 82nd minute of play. Marcin Snaza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Erdi Bender made a huge save. Szczakowianka were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of KS Piastów Sosnowiec for a fine match.
