The audience thought a goal was coming when Belo Alvarez got free with Ivan Chiuzbaian in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bacete came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian got control of the ball when Belo Alvarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Stasio Bienienda ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian got control of the ball when Leroy Antunez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner ended in Bingen Campos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian did a great save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belo Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manolo Bacete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maurino Serena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 57 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maurino Serena narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Delmar Mayor. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.D. Alcorcón's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Stasio Bienienda was slow to take the kick. During this time Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. When Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.D. Alcorcón's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the game, Arcadio Ramiréz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A.D. Alcorcón's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
