The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Steinfinnur Magnússon got a throw-in 5 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Robbin Moreaux. Fariz Nair's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Michael Krawczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Chen Yan in the 10th minute of play. Benedykt Perkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Krawczyk having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Szczakowianka got a freekick which was hit by Steinfinnur Magnússon. Fariz Nair could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. Benedykt Perkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Krawczyk having to interfere. In the 27th minute Luis Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Krawczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Fariz Nair sent off a good shot on target. Michael Krawczyk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedykt Perkowski's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. A collision led to Szczakowianka getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Steinfinnur Magnússon hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Luis Elequemedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Michael Krawczyk was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Michael Krawczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Chen Yan in the 42nd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benedykt Perkowski to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Goral Zywiec! Yan Chen Yan walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Luis Elequemedo took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michael Krawczyk. Michael Krawczyk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Benedykt Perkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Michael Krawczyk made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Benedykt Perkowski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Michael Krawczyk. Benedykt Perkowski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Benedykt Perkowski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Michael Krawczyk came out and tried to block the shot, but Benedykt Perkowski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 65th minute. Goral Zywiec made a substitution. Gao Wei Fei replaced Fariz Nair. Jaroslaw Garusov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Goral Zywiec's Zula Nowacki was substituted for Jaroslaw Garusov. After a rather tough play, Goral Zywiec's Gao Wei Fei got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Chen Yan in the 77th minute of play forced Goral Zywiec's goalkeeper Michael Krawczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 82 in the game by Yan Chen Yan from a close distance when the talented Michael Krawczyk managed to make a qualified save. Goral Zywiec's players were relieved. The supporters of Goral Zywiec booed when Szczakowianka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Blicharz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zula Nowacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yan Chen Yan got free with Michael Krawczyk in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steinfinnur Magnússon kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zula Nowacki, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Goral Zywiec's Michael Krawczyk got control of the ball when Luis Elequemedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Goral Zywiec supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Szczakowianka's performance. The match ended with a win for Szczakowianka.
