Mateo Palacio scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Krawczyk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Napoleon Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fariz Nair in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Goral Zywiec's Fariz Nair sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Napoleon Jajko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fariz Nair's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Napoleon Jajko firmly grabbed it by the left post.
