Morgan Lundqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Chen Yan in the 18th minute of play forced KS HANZA Goleniów's goalkeeper Ferdinand Thurø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Thurø stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedykt Perkowski's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Benedykt Perkowski sped through KS HANZA Goleniów's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ferdinand Thurø. In the 25th minute, Șerban Chihaia fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Thibaut Courtois, passed just outside the right post. Radowit Ogrodowicz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Klement Marut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. Șerban Chihaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thibaut Courtois read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Thibaut Courtois made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Klement Marut sent off a good shot on target. Akın Sahir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Robbin Moreaux hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th of the match, Roland Gozdowski tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Thibaut Courtois got in the way and made a wonderful save. 44 minutes into the game, Szczakowianka's Yan Chen Yan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Thurø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ferdinand Thurø came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Szczakowianka's Yan Chen Yan. But to his dismay, Yan Chen Yan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The KS HANZA Goleniów players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Szczakowianka were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Klement Marut made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Elequemedo got free with Ferdinand Thurø in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 53 minutes into the match, Luis Elequemedo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferdinand Thurø, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Marut in the 59th minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Thurø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Chen Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmund Moryl in the 62nd minute of play forced Szczakowianka's goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Edmund Moryl made a precise shot to the right of Thibaut Courtois. Szczakowianka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klement Marut in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thibaut Courtois prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klement Marut in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thibaut Courtois saved Szczakowianka from getting behind. Ferdinand Thurø took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Roland Gozdowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thibaut Courtois was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. KS HANZA Goleniów's Ferdinand Thurø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Chen Yan in the 71st minute of play. In the 71st minute Yan Chen Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Thurø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Szczakowianka's goal looked a bit too open when Klement Marut came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Șerban Chihaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Elequemedo got free with Ferdinand Thurø in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Szczakowianka's Yan Chen Yan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ferdinand Thurø in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 87 minutes into the game, KS HANZA Goleniów's Zbyszek Przybyciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaut Courtois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-5. Thibaut Courtois came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by KS HANZA Goleniów's Roland Gozdowski. But to his dismay, Roland Gozdowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. Yan Chen Yans short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Ferdinand Thurø to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Szczakowianka's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Yan Chen Yan in the 95th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Szczakowianka walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
