An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 7th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Grau in the 9th minute of play forced INTER Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Patryk Olejarz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Nordstedt in the 16th minute of play. INTER Sosnowiec's Patryk Olejarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Akyazıcı in the 20th minute of play. After 21 played minutes INTER Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Alekos Voreadis. 24 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Greg Bridgeman came free, but Ivan Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian got control of the ball when Ethan Mbappè tried to sneak it across the goal line. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s İlhami Akyazıcı got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ethan Mbappè. The corner ended in Rene Kreiser almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian did a great save. 37 minutes into the match, Zhao Sen Yang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patryk Olejarz. INTER Sosnowiec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zhao Sen Yang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 46th minute, Wlodzimierz Swoboda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bror Nordstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. Olov Ahlbeck hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Ivan Chiuzbaian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bror Nordstedt in the 53rd minute of play. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patryk Olejarz made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Zhao Sen Yang sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Patryk Olejarz. Patryk Olejarz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 62nd minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Olejarz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 63 minutes INTER Sosnowiec's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stasio Bienienda who took care of the corner kick. Grigore Maghiran made a great header on Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s corner, it was just that INTER Sosnowiec's Patryk Olejarz managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to INTER Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Swoboda hit a great ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Wlodzimierz Swoboda kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Kreiser in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Chiuzbaian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 minutes, Rene Kreiser made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Zhao Sen Yang came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhao Sen Yang couldn't finish the play. In the 81stth minute of the game Zhao Sen Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but INTER Sosnowiec's Patryk Olejarz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patryk Olejarz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Klement Zachemski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patryk Olejarz came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Ahlbeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th minute, Rene Kreiser sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian didn't even have to move.
