Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ivo Chaves ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 7th minute, Belo Alvarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Alcorcón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Bernard Poniewaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maurino Serena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the A.D. Alcorcón defense, Gösta Söderberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurino Serena. The A.D. Alcorcón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurino Serena should have stopped the shot. After 20 played minutes KANONIERZY got a freekick which was hit by Ivo Chaves. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Söderberg came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Esteban Vadillos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. In the 34th match minute, A.D. Alcorcón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolinar Guijarro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, KANONIERZY's Bernard Poniewaz got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 42ndth minute of the game Gösta Söderberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of A.D. Alcorcón booed when KANONIERZY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivo Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Delmar Mayor hit a great ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Söderberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Apolinar Guijarro's late challenge caught a KANONIERZY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apolinar Guijarro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, A.D. Alcorcón's Apolinar Guijarro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Apolinar Guijarro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. KANONIERZY's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ivo Chaves in the 67th minute. The corner led KANONIERZY's Ivo Chaves to fire away a dangerous shot which Maurino Serena despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Christian Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erlantz Bermejo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Abbiati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Erlantz Bermejo came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the A.D. Alcorcón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erlantz Bermejo couldn't finish the play. A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez was substituted for Belo Alvarez. KANONIERZY made a substitution. Damazy Fleischer replaced Bernard Poniewaz. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Söderberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Maurino Serena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gösta Söderberg's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Gösta Söderberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurino Serena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
