After 8 played minutes Olympique Gdynia got a freekick which was hit by Şota Arveladze. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslaw Birkenhagen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Şota Arveladze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaroslaw Birkenhagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Ostrowski having to interfere. Bitcoin Elbląg's Boruc Frankowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bitcoin Elbląg from getting a goal against them. Jaroslaw Birkenhagen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tanek Ostrowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tanek Ostrowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dawid Sliwinski's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Jaroslaw Birkenhagen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Tanek Ostrowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boruc Frankowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şota Arveladze in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 minutes Bitcoin Elbląg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio-Roman Zabaleta who took care of the corner kick. Olympique Gdynia's Bogdan Imbor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Boruc Frankowski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Nevada in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tanek Ostrowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaroslaw Birkenhagen in the 36th minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boruc Frankowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tirso Isasaga got free with Boruc Frankowski in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute of the match, Alex Martinez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tanek Ostrowski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 92nd minute, Konstanty Tipinski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Şota Arveladze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boruc Frankowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Şota Arveladze made a precise shot to the right of Boruc Frankowski. Bitcoin Elbląg's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
