Rega Merida CF's Lech Matela quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, KANONIERZY's Richie Ray got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nistor Sârban's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Abbiati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marian Sobania in the 40th minute of play. With his leg Christian Abbiati managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when Rega Merida CF's Nistor Sârban fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nistor Sârban blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Abbiati having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nistor Sârban got free with Christian Abbiati in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Söderberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Rega Merida CF's attentive Elpidio Umbruso managed to snatch the ball when Eduardo Beltran made a throw-in in the 51st minute of the game. When KANONIERZY's Gösta Söderberg in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Rega Merida CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 94 minutes of play, KANONIERZY's Ali Hamza Hanefi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstanty Wawro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
