After 8 minutes Rega Merida CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damazy Joks who took care of the corner kick. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Piotr Kawa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Konstanty Wawro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 11 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Sârban came free, but Gigel Botescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The KS Olimpia Warszawa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 35 minutes of play, KS Olimpia Warszawa's Damazy Joks made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstanty Wawro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walery Glapiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Joks in the 43rd minute of play. KS Olimpia Warszawa were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Rega Merida CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Damazy Joks took the corner. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Rega Merida CF booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Carneiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rega Merida CF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Damazy Joks was slow to take the kick. During this time KS Olimpia Warszawa's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Damazy Joks got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Konstanty Wawro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62ndth minute of the game Damazy Joks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rega Merida CF's Konstanty Wawro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gigel Botescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nistor Sârban in the 68th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Rega Merida CF's Karol Swiderski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigel Botescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Konrad Knopek replaced Nistor Sârban. Rega Merida CF made a substitution.
