In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jan Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damazy Joks in the 9th minute of the match. With a little luck, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Jan Basaik got control of the ball when Damazy Joks tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 15 played minutes KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Österberg. In the 19th minute Damazy Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Basaik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of KS Olimpia Warszawa booed when KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Österberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's goalkeeper Jan Basaik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damazy Joks. After having played for 51 minutes, Damazy Joks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damazy Joks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
