Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Prospero Perico took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Pavao Zadro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lobos de Carelia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavao Zadro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Saul Montrel notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Mexico booed when Lobos de Carelia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Laurendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Cortez. Lobos de Carelia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 21 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Cleto Confesor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Perico got free with Dante Lacasa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Montrel in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pavao Zadro came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match Joel Gaona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Cortez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nestor Cortez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 37th minute of play. Nestor Cortez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of the match. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Cortez having to interfere.

The supporters of Lobos de Carelia booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Joel Gaona took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Nestor Cortez to make any attempt to save it. 74 minutes into the match, Lobos de Carelia's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Nestor Cortez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match, Alberto Tafalla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nestor Cortez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nestor Cortez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 78 minute of play. Nestor Cortez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 87 played minutes Lobos de Carelia got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Oliverios. Lobos de Carelia's Nestor Cortez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Lobos de Carelia from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the game, one of Mexico:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nestor Cortez made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Nestor Cortez was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Lautaro Mancebo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lautaro Mancebo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
