Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Español's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Turgut Talha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turgut Talha having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Jose Abar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Abar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thiago Pliego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes in the game Alfredo Sotil did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Vacid Nefer. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vacid Nefer in the 16th minute of play. Petrică Bărbulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turgut Talha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Jose Abar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 29th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper Turgut Talha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Turgut Talha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Tenho Sono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Abar hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Vacid Nefer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. Matias Chayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Vacid Nefer made the kick off in the second half. Club Deportivo Español's Vacid Nefer got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Turgut Talha to make any attempt to save it. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vacid Nefer in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vacid Nefer in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Vacid Nefer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. Matias Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute, Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Club Deportivo Español made a substitution. Arnaldo Queiroz replaced Tenho Sono. Orlando Casaus's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Turgut Talha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Vacid Nefer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. When Vacid Nefer came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Club Deportivo Español fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vacid Nefer couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Vacid Nefer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
