With an all-out effort, Muñiz City's Noel Seide threw himself towards the right post 2 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carmelo Cordario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 4 minutes into the match, Florentino Arnas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Haiti's Noel Seide. Noel Seide was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Jean Marie Alcius hit a great ball. If Honorato Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17th minute, Honorato Leobardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Florentino Arnas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Noel Seide, 2-0. Florentino Arnas charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florentino Arnas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 25th match minute, Muñiz City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Arnas to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 27 minutes, Jonathan Alphonse managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haiti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Alphonse was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Leobardo in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Noel Seide, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Honorato Leobardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Seide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorato Leobardo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute Honorato Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Seide took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorato Leobardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernso Constant to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Ernso Constant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Cordario might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Seide. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Cordario ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorato Leobardo to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Edgardo Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muñiz City's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Leocadio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute of the game Edgardo Leocadio made a throw-in which Primitivo Maureo played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Etor in the 62nd minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Anastasio Etor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Leobardo in the 82nd minute of play. Rodney Emmanuel charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodney Emmanuel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Muñiz City booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodney Emmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute Honorato Leobardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Maureo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Primitivo Maureo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. If Carmelo Cordario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Muñiz City had played much better football throughout.
