Uriel Coca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Ahonen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Carillo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when Revolución Joao FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Coca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Ahonen was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Luca Espinar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Humberto Carillo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Joel Ahonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 58th minute of play. Vigil Almenara made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Revolución Joao FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute, Xesus Cortes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Romão Mourato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Honduras's attentive Moises Tafalla managed to snatch the ball when Uriel Becerra made a throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Joel Ahonen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Revolución Joao FC's Uriel Coca got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Uriel Coca off the ground. After 90 played minutes Revolución Joao FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Coca. 91 minutes into the match, Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper Joel Ahonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. When Sebastian Villa came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Villa couldn't finish the play.
