Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jader Duran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milagros Cabal hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jader Duran in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Jader Duran managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Marino Thm's supporters rose to their feet, but Jader Duran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jader Duran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edmundo Espiga hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zilar Presedo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jader Duran to strike the kick off in the second half. San Marino Thm's Zilar Presedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zilar Presedo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Zilar Presedo in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 61st minute of play forced San Marino Thm's goalkeeper Zilar Presedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jader Duran went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute, Edmundo Espiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th minute, Cuarto Charro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zilar Presedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by San Marino Thm's Jader Duran. But to his dismay, Jader Duran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 78 minutes into the match, San Marino Thm's goalkeeper Zilar Presedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. Zilar Presedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jader Duran went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Honduras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
