Christian Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stasio Kociniewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, IFK Göteborg's Mattias Kilman got a free kick in the 9th minute. After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Stasio Kociniewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Wenerdahl. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Wenerdahl should have stopped the shot. Bernt Öfverman charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernt Öfverman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernt Öfverman hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Odważni's Stasio Kociniewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Wenerdahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Damazy Zawaski fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Odważni's protests and gave Damazy Zawaski a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Stasio Kociniewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the IFK Göteborg defense, Stasio Kociniewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Wenerdahl. The IFK Göteborg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Wenerdahl should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Odważni's zone, Karl-Ove Blomkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Bilicki came out of the goal and Karl-Ove Blomkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Odważni getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Edmund Zdrojewski hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Atıf Nezir was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Ali Atıf Nezir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Wenerdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Åke Ahlén in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernard Bilicki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernard Bilicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Blomkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Ben West struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Christian Wenerdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Odważni. 71 minutes into the game, Ben West cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Christian Wenerdahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Ben West reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Christian Wenerdahl. The goal made the score 0-6. 78 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Ben West came free, but Christian Wenerdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Odważni's Ali Atıf Nezir. But to his dismay, Ali Atıf Nezir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Ali Atıf Nezir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Wenerdahl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben West in the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Odważni left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than IFK Göteborg.
