In the 5th minute, IFK Göteborg's Ove Lövkvist dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jiří Srba scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Wenerdahl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Christian Wenerdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Dvořáček in the 16th minute of play. Jens-Ove Lindkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Eldema Mstišov's Jiří Srba. But to his dismay, Jiří Srba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Eduard Jindrák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Ove Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, FK Eldema Mstišov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomáš Krpec to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiří Srba in the 29th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Christian Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes IFK Göteborg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jiří Srba who took care of the corner kick. Christian Wenerdahl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jiří Srba went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Christian Wenerdahl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Dvořáček, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Wenerdahl came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FK Eldema Mstišov's Tomáš Krpec. But to his dismay, Tomáš Krpec quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 41st minute, Michael Dvořáček ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Wenerdahl was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Christian Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Dvořáček, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torsten Petersson was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes FK Eldema Mstišov got a freekick which was hit by Lubor Erlebach. Eduard Jindrák took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torsten Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Wenerdahl made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Michael Dvořáček sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute of the match Jens-Ove Lindkvist sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduard Jindrák skillfully saved the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Jiří Srba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-8. Christian Wenerdahl was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jiří Srba took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Wenerdahl. Christian Wenerdahl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-9. A collision led to FK Eldema Mstišov getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Pavel Klos hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, FK Eldema Mstišov's Jiří Srba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christian Wenerdahl. Christian Wenerdahl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-10. After 87 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Öfverman. 94 minutes into the game, Jörgen Hammarberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Göteborg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FK Eldema Mstišov the free kick. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jörgen Hammarberg hit a great ball. Rastislav Snopek's late challenge caught a IFK Göteborg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rastislav Snopek helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FK Eldema Mstišov's Rastislav Snopek got a free kick in the 95th minute.
