After 16 played minutes, Olympique Fribourg's Daniel Schroeder shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francesco Toldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Olympique Fribourg reached it. Francesco Toldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florian Plouffe in the 19th minute of play. Francesco Toldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mando Lucifer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tristan Arioli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Che Perón blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tristan Arioli having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Lewandowski in the 38th minute of play forced Olympique Fribourg's goalkeeper Tristan Arioli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raik Topuz in the 41st minute of play. Francesco Toldo came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Fribourg's Florian Plouffe. But to his dismay, Florian Plouffe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Resurrección Diabólica Ψ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olympique Fribourg were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florian Plouffe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olympique Fribourg's Raik Topuz got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute Raik Topuz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Che Perón in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Resurrección Diabólica Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Raik Topuz came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Mando Lucifer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 64th match minute, Olympique Fribourg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Steiner to maneuver through the defense. Resurrección Diabólica Ψ made a substitution. Luz Mala replaced Che Perón. The supporters of Resurrección Diabólica Ψ booed when Olympique Fribourg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Steiner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mando Lucifer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tristan Arioli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mando Lucifer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Bruno Steiner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Marcellus Walpert was extremely unlucky when he, in the 79th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mando Lucifer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Resurrección Diabólica Ψ getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gabriel-Omar Lewandowski hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique Fribourg's zone, Mando Lucifer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Arioli came out of the goal and Mando Lucifer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olympique Fribourg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
