Jens-Ove Lindkvist hit a great ball. Florin Dorlea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Don Speed's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. A collision led to Westra Aros SK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Axel Linberg hit a great ball. When Westra Aros SK's Don Nickler in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Göteborg's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Nickler in the 18th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Florin Dorlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Bror Beck fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westra Aros SK's protests and gave Bror Beck a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Westra Aros SK got a freekick which was hit by Bror Beck. After 24 minutes of play, Westra Aros SK's Don Nickler made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florin Dorlea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kent Löfkvist's late challenge caught a Westra Aros SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Löfkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in IFK Göteborg fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! Florin Dorlea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Söderkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Don Nickler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Dorlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florin Dorlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Nickler in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Don Nickler made the kick off in the second half. Joachim Hägg hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Florin Dorlea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Don Nickler. Alvin Söderkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Västlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Hägg in the 64th minute of play. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Joachim Hägg sped through Westra Aros SK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Västlund. In the 70th match minute, IFK Göteborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfred Valström to maneuver through the defense. Florin Dorlea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Don Nickler in the 71st minute. Don Nickler struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Florin Dorlea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westra Aros SK. 78 minutes into the match, IFK Göteborg's goal looked a bit too open when Don Nickler came free, but Florin Dorlea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Dorlea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Don Nickler went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute Alvin Söderkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Dorlea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Westra Aros SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Bjurström to maneuver through the defense. Westra Aros SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
