Fernandez Montoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Dorlea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Björn Hult hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porfiro Caraduje in the 10th minute of play forced IFK Göteborg's goalkeeper Florin Dorlea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Florin Dorlea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 16 played minutes IFK Göteborg got a freekick which was hit by Björn Hult. A collision led to IFK Göteborg getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Björn Hult hit a great ball. With his leg Florin Dorlea managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Sociedad Anónima's Fernandez Montoto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernandez Montoto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florin Dorlea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Fernandez Montoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Dorlea. IFK Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandez Montoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

52 minutes into the game, Porfiro Caraduje cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Florin Dorlea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 56 minutes into the game, Manfred Valström threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sociedad Anónima's Stefan Kjellqvist quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Manfred Valström hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When Sociedad Anónima's Fernandez Montoto in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye IFK Göteborg's goalie prevented a goal. Florin Dorlea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Montoto in the 63rd minute of the match. Fernandez Montoto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Fernandez Montoto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Florin Dorlea. IFK Göteborg's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernandez Montoto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Sociedad Anónima's Colas Carriles was substituted for Laurgain Idiaquez. After a defensive mix-up in IFK Göteborg's zone, Lia Arbulo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Dorlea came out of the goal and Lia Arbulo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Fernandez Montoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Vitaliy Krylatov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Adamski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 86 minutes, Porfiro Caraduje made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. IFK Göteborg's Florin Dorlea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernandez Montoto took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florin Dorlea. Florin Dorlea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After 96 minutes of play, Sociedad Anónima's Fernandez Montoto made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florin Dorlea was left in no man's land by his defense there!
