Atle Aunan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Zinsli in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ralf Bianco in the 29th minute of play forced Team E.C Dahls's goalkeeper Atle Aunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lasse Tømte hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ansgar Kalb in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Zinsli made a kick off. Martin Zinsli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atle Aunan having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Team E.C Dahls's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Zinsli came free, but Atle Aunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Tømte was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the game, one of Team E.C Dahls:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Olympique Fribourg a penalty, 64 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Uli Bieri, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Team E.C Dahls's Atle Aunan. 0-3. After 71 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Bur. Team E.C Dahls's Iver Grønnevik couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Olympique Fribourg. In the 81st minute, Olympique Fribourg's Martin Zinsli ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Atle Aunan. Atle Aunan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Olympique Fribourg's Guillaume Vittiger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inge Wahlstrøm in the 88th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Team E.C Dahls got a freekick which was hit by Carl-Rune Strandheim. Uli Bieri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Atle Aunan. Team E.C Dahls's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 93 played minutes Olympique Fribourg got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Bianco. An unexpected shot in the 96th minute by Ansgar Kalb got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 97 minutes, Martin Zinsli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Olympique Fribourg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Zinsli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Olympique Fribourg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
