After a defensive mix-up in Lidköping's zone, Thorvald Mansel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristoffer Västerstrand came out of the goal and Thorvald Mansel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hoàng Tran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Bogren in the 17th minute of play. The referee showed Thorvald Mansel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Dalin's Thorvald Mansel got a free kick in the 28th minute. Stefan Bogren came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hoàng Tran could save by the left post. Nghiêm Tong hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Trần Ritchell scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kristoffer Västerstrand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Kristoffer Västerstrand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
